Gorey manuscript on page 78 reads, "Ted Gorey Gorey Let every day produce some curious Lines That may commend thy Genius and thy Pen." Now obscure, this was at the time a child's schoolbook writing practice verse. He also pencils background and body of running child illustration leaving dress white and pencils in one bunny.
